Sears Product Reviews

We are adding select Sears™ items from their Craftsman™ and Kenmore™ product lines to our reviews. Although our focus remains Harbor Freight™ products, Craftsman offers a higher quality tool line that is sometimes required for the job, and Kenmore offers quality products that cover other types of merchandise not generally sold at Harbor Freight. The rationale for the Craftsman items is that while Harbor Freight usually provides good value-for-the-money there are times when a better quality tool is demanded or just desired; and a few Kenmore items are added to balance the shop tools with some Kitchen essentials to keep one’s domestic partner happy and busy (e.g., while you’re busy routing away, they might be cooking or brewing a refreshing cup of coffee). Such consideration has been known to add appreciably to one’s domestic tranquility (e.g., “all you think of is yourself and tools” becomes “thanks for finding something nice for me [or for the ‘house’] too”). Trust me; this often works wonders for increasing your uninterrupted ‘shop-time.’ My wife is a fantastic cook, and her new (slightly used) Kenmore food-processor not only provides her hours of enjoyment preparing tasty dishes, but provides me with some great eating too along with more uninterrupted shop-time! (And if we’re both very lucky, she’ll be writing some of the reviews for the Kenmore products.)
